About Coral-List

Coral-List is funded by NOAA's Coral Reef Conservation Program and NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory, and therefore adopts and is guided by its strategy for coral reef conservation. 

The purpose of the Coral-List listserver is to provide a forum for Internet discussions and announcements pertaining to coral reef ecosystem research, conservation, and education. The list is primarily for use by coral reef ecosystem researchers, scientists and educators, but is of course open to everybody. As of August 2018 over 9,350 coral reef enthusiasts were subscribed to the list.
