Surface zooplankton collections, from the northern part of 
the Gulf of Aqaba, that continued from November 1985 to 
October 1987 were analyzed. From all these samples, a total 
of 168 taxa were identified. Collections were performed on 
two sampling sites, one located offshore and the second near 
the coral reef.
